Hi I’m Jada, and I studied part of my high school using the Ron Paul Curriculum, so this blog was made for my RPC (Ron Paul Curriculum) essays.
I hope you can learn something new with what I write. Comments and suggestions are welcomed!
This is my other blog it’s in spanish: http://jadaalc2.wordpress.com/
This is my brother’s blog: http://hectoralc.wordpress.com/
Here is a link to an interview they made me along with my brother, you can know a little bit more about me here: https://jadaalc.wordpress.com/2014/04/21/interview-about-the-ron-paul-curriculum/
Thank you for visiting!
Have a blessed day!
Very Important Note: Some of my essays may have content that are not necessarily teachings from the Ron Paul Curriculum.
Congrats to you and your brother on your interview! Great job and great testimony to RPC! 🙂

I certainly know of Ron Paul and I’m extremely familiar with homeschooling but I didn’t know he had his own curriculum. Learning is one of the joys of life and blogging is another. To combine both of these is a wonderful idea.

Yes, I agree… honestly I didn´t know about Ron Paul, even less the Ron Paul Curriculum, but once I found out about it and got in, I thought it was wonderful… it actually has been great!
Thanks! 🙂

I was supposed to have finished high school already, but I stopped studying for almost two years. I used to be in a private school, and before that in a public school. Right after I left the private school almost two years later, I began with school again but with the Ron Paul Curriculum.
Right now I’m not going by grade but by course. I’m 18 years old so I guess you can see the picture. 😉

I found your blog through our granddaughter’s blog. She, too, has worked with the Ron Paul curriculum. She and her two younger brothers are being home-schooled. I am thrilled for them. I believe the government schools are Indoctrination Centers. They lie to students and children who attend them are exposed to many evil ideas and behaviors which they believe are good and normal because “everybody does it”. It is difficult to be a real Christian in a government school. I know from my own experience and that of my children how problematic government schools are. Our daughter was chosen for a so-called Gifted Program at her government school which lasted from the fourth grade through the eighth grade and I did not learn until she was in the twelfth grade that it was really Values Clarification and the purpose of it was to indoctrinate her and all the others in it to beliefs that were opposed to parents’ teachings at home. When I challenged it officially, at school board meetings, I was fought tooth and nail by all the school employees I dealt with. Her teachers lied to my face about what it was and what happened in it. Special materials were used to do the indoctrination but the books never came home so I did not see them until she was nearly out of high school. Parents are flattered when their children are labeled “gifted” and so do not question what is going on. I questioned before it even began but I was lied to about it. “Gifted” children are chosen for this “enrichment” because the people behind it believe to change the country/world they must change the “leaders” of the future. The purpose of such classes is to change the thoughts, feelings, attitudes, beliefs and actions of these students. People like Mortimer Adler and Robert M. Hutchins are fathers of this sort of thing. One of the special book/s used in our daughter’s class was/were Philosophy For Children and another was The Jr. Great Books Program, and offshoot of the Great Books Program. I learned that even private school children have this done to them and some home-schooled children are encouraged to use these materials. Of course, many home-schooled children are not Christians but many are so I am very disappointed that people are being deceived by these programs by not investigating them and their creators. God’s blessings on all your family. Consuelo

I definitely get what you are saying! I was able to see the same control on a private school. Now a days, education is one of the things that wants to be controlled the most, for it is where we get most of our influence. Investigating our sources and information is part of life. There are so many things that have been distorted and other that are in the process. Even small details that have been taught are incorrect, and we grow up believing them. I have this essay that I wrote about the belief of the flat earth as an example of this evil: https://jadaalc.wordpress.com/2015/06/03/mario-vargas-on-questions-of-conquest-flat-earth/
Personally, I go to the best source there is, and it is also the one that is the most trustworthy and that is God. I believe that He is the only answer that we have.
Thank you for writing! Many blessings!

Benjamin Richards teaches the 6-9 grade math. He was pretty easy to understand and taught lots of cool stuff in my opinion. What was you favorite course you took?

Ok. I never had him as a teacher, but that sounds well.
Well, that´s a hard question, because I really liked the government courses as well as the western civilization course and the economics course a lot. They are each different, but very interesting. Though, I think it would be the economics course, since I learned a lot on how money works in the government in that one.
Which one is yours?

Probably the Government 1A course. I only took one semester of government. I might take the other half a later time. I also liked Dignan’s 8th grade science course.
