Religion vs. True Believing

The Hebrews in the Bible are said to be the people of God, the chosen nation; in which all the nations of the world will be blessed. However, the Hebrews aren´t the only chosen people of God. I believe that it is those who have the Spirit of holiness, the Spirit of God in them, and them in Him that are also the chosen people of God.

Romans 2:28-29

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outwars in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Therefore, whoever truly believes in Him, and has crucified his flesh for Him, is a son of God. All this to say that truly believing in the One True God is NOT a religion. All of us have been accustomed to living in religion, that whenever we get something out of religion we start feeling uncomfortable. This is because of the light that comes from speaking the truth. It penetrates into out innermost being like a double edged sword breaking the structures of darkenss inside of us. Necessarily and by nature it will reveal the darkenss inside of each and one of us, it will expose us to the Light, and we will never again be able to live our same lives. If believing in Yahweh were a religion than why did the Pharisees not accept it? Then why do many people hate it? Then why when we follow Him, we begin to realize how blind we were? Is it because of the Light of Yahweh? The Light that doesn´t let you live in sin anymore, but instead confronts you with the truth? Religion is comfortable, it veils your understanding into living a “truth” that really is a lie. That is why when we live in religion nothing changes. That is why living in religion never impacts your life or the life of anyone else. We need to challenge what we think! (Eudaimonia?)

On the other hand the Greek religion is full of confusion and darkness, that darkens the life of everyone that practices it.

Disgracefully, it is Greek religion that has shaped most of our societies. That is why my fellow reader that society has worsened throughout the years. As I said in Ancient Greece and Pre-Socratic Philosophy our societies haven´t been able to get better because of the reason we have implented by influence of the Greeks. In Greek Religion Uncovered, it is exposed how if we won´t be fond of Greek religion, then why be of its art, and culture when it honors its religious beliefs.

The only way our lives will change, the only way we will begin to know who we really are and what we were made to do is by changing our way of thought and challenging what we believe into kowing and finding the truth. The only way we can know the truth is through Jesus.
