Washington’s Arguments Against The Slave System

Booker Washington was the name of the young boy who used to be a slave. He had few arguments against the slave system, which all go down to one conclusion. These are the following arguments against the slave system that he had.

He thought slavery was a bad system, because it kept slaves in poverty, which induced them to the temptations of stealing. He also claimed that there was a lack of family structure, which led to a lack of a family education. Speaking of which, slaves couldn’t get an education, and that forcedly, made them quit their dreams, and goals.

These were basically his arguments on why he thought slavery was a bad system. In conclusion, he was against it.
